    泵的型式选择是根据泵的性能、安装要求、介质性质及使用要求进行选择的。型式选择也是很重要的，如果选择不当就会无法满足使用安装要求。

一、从性能选择泵的型式

(1)当扬程不是很高(H<150m)，比转速n=30~280时，可选泽单级单吸的离心泵。

(2)当扬程较高的情况下H大于50m，可考虑选用多级离心泵，当H大于150时，一般需选用多级离心泵。

(3)当流量较大情况下宜选用双吸离心泵。

(4)当扬程较低(5~20m)，流量又较大，比转速ns=250~600时可考虑选用混流泵。

(5)当扬整很低(H 10m)而流量又很大(Q大于1000m3/h)，比转速ns=600-2000时应考虑选用轴流泵。
    (6)当流量很小，扬程很高的情况下，可选用旋涡泵或部分流泵。
