渣浆泵机械密封的冲洗和冷却有什么不同
(1)机械密封的冲洗
    机械密封的冲洗和冷却属机械密封的辅助设施。机被密封的冲洗可以用来降低温度,保持密封端面的良好润滑,防止汽化而不会造成干摩擦,及在有固体颗粒、结晶介质及强腐蚀介质中保持密封环不受损害。因此,机械密封的冲洗和冷却是必不可少的。
    机械密封冲洗的方式,有自冲洗、循环冲洗和注式冲洗三种。
    自冲洗是用泵本身产生的压差或密封腔内的泵送装置产生的压差,使被密封介质通过密封腔形成闭合回路实现冲洗。泵本身产生的压差冲洗一般是从泵的出口引入机封腔中进行中洗,然后回到泵进口。如果泵输送的液体温度较高时,中间可接冷却器, 冷却后再送密封腔冲洗密封端面。

送装置的冲洗是将轴封腔内的液体通过泵送装置升压,送到冷却器冷却后,又送回轴封腔冲洗机封,应用于泵送装置的升压装置,可以是小叶轮、旋涡叶轮或泵送螺旋等,液体温度较高情况下使用。
    循环冲洗称额外循环冲洗,是通过一个泵送装置使外加的密封流体进行循环,泵送装置可以是外加的,也可以在密封腔中加装一个泵装置。这种冲洗方法多用于双端面或多端面密封上。单端面密封一般不采用。
    式冲洗或称外冲洗,是从外部注人另一种液体到密封腔内,改善密封工作条件,这种方法一般是被输送介质不宜做密封流体时采用。例被输送介质含固体颗粒或黏度大或温度太高等。
(2)机械密封的冷却
    在输送高温介质时,对机封应进行冷却。冷却方式可为直接冷却和间接冷却两种。直接
冷却,
种是上面所说的冷却液体冲洗。另种是在压盖上通冷却液体冷却静环,在密封腔外面的部分,即称急冷或称背冷。这部分冷却液不回流到泵内,而是被排放掉了,所以常常用冷水进行。
    间接冷却是在密封腔外面加冷却夹套,如图5-13 所示,冷却夹套的冷却液一般是外界引入的冷水。常与泵轴承的冷却,泵支脚的冷却起组成的冷却系统。

(1) flushing of mechanical seal

Flushing and cooling of mechanical seal are auxiliary facilities of mechanical seal. The flushing of the machine seal can be used to reduce the temperature, keep the good lubrication of the seal face, prevent vaporization without dry friction, and keep the seal ring from damage in the presence of solid particles, crystal medium and strong corrosive medium. Therefore, it is necessary to wash and cool the mechanical seal.

There are three washing methods of mechanical seal: self washing, circulation washing and injection washing.

Self flushing is to use the pressure difference generated by the pump itself or the pressure difference generated by the pumping device in the sealed cavity to make the sealed medium form a closed circuit through the sealed cavity to realize flushing. The differential pressure flushing generated by the pump itself is generally introduced into the mechanical seal cavity from the pump outlet for intermediate flushing, and then returned to the pump inlet. If the temperature of the liquid delivered by the pump is high, it can be connected to the cooler in the middle, and then sent to the seal chamber to wash the seal face after cooling.

The flushing of the pumping device is to boost the liquid in the shaft seal cavity through the pumping device, send it to the cooler for cooling, and then send it back to the shaft seal cavity for flushing the machine seal. It can be applied to the boosting device of the pumping device, such as the small impeller, the vortex impeller or the pumping screw. It can be used when the liquid temperature is high.

Circulation flushing is called extra circulation flushing. It circulates the external sealing fluid through a pumping device. The pumping device can be external or a pump device can be added in the sealing chamber. This kind of flushing method is often used on double face or multi face seals. Single face seal is generally not used.

Injection flushing, or external flushing, is to inject another liquid from the outside into the sealing cavity to improve the sealing working conditions. This method is generally used when the transported medium is not suitable for sealing fluid. For example, the conveyed medium contains solid particles or has high viscosity or too high temperature.

(2) cooling of mechanical seal

When conveying high temperature medium, the machine seal shall be cooled. There are two cooling modes: direct cooling and indirect cooling. direct

Cooling, one is the above-mentioned cooling liquid flushing. The other is to put cooling liquid into the gland to cool the static ring. The part outside the sealing chamber is called "quench" or "back cooling". This part of coolant does not return to the pump, but is discharged, so it is often carried out with cold water.

Indirect cooling is to add cooling jacket outside the sealing cavity, as shown in Figure 5-13. The cooling liquid of cooling jacket is generally cold water introduced from outside. The cooling system is usually composed of the cooling of pump bearings and pump feet.

Generally, when the temperature of pump medium is higher than 150 or there is no flushing, or the liquid with low boiling point and high melting point need indirect cooling. Indirect cooling is also generally required in boiler feed pumps.
